i cant find any info on T. tropheops "Black dorsal" i can only find p.tropheops?

hey kimbo if u can get your hands on the Malawi Cichlids
in thier nature habitat 3rd ed by ad konnings it's on page 84.

Yep, it's Pseudotropheus tropheops (=Tropheops tropheops),
Tropheops sp 'Black dorsal'. sorry for the confusion.

I might be interested in the multis. Will you separate the group though? I'm trying to get males from one source, females from another. I suppose there wouldnt be a prob if you have allready done that though :p

Hlokk sorry i'd rather get rid of the lot at once. But they good breeders which produce large numbers of fry.

by A. obliquidens i assume you mean Astatotilapia,
in which case im curious as to which fish you have. I was under the impression that these fish where never exported from the lake and are believed to be extinct now.

ATT: Canerod, Yes they are Astatotilapia Latifasciata ( Zebra Obliquiden) I bought them from a fish shop and was told at the time that they are now extinct in the lake.

yes extinct in the lake but not that rare in captivity from what i have read, there survival depends souly on aquariasts
