If possible that get along with angelfish or to replace the angelfish sometime down the track.
I've been looking at the link below guessing another of the South American ones might be possible but really no idea. Wondered if rams might work but not sure on requirements and how hardy they are.

No worries
Still appreciating all the replies.
Yeah, it's getting fairly well grown in so can take a bit of punishment but nothing too much. Given up on carpet plants as they get eaten / slow growing so mostly plants that survive well now - Java Fern, bolbitis, aponogeton, anubias, crypts, red stem plants.

Well now that I'm getting tinanti from the next cichlid shipment by Aquotix, I'll have to move my Matadi kribs in to another tank or sell them. You buy? Special plice cheap cheap
Hi, many thanks for the offer. But still looking and thinking / planning tank at moment and having some fun researching.

Many thanks - I'll look into these as well. Would be nice to keep to a rough South American theme.
Nitrates are probably 20ppm or less. Just got to control the spikes with ferts dosing and the plants will be done.
