Good luck with EBJD's. I've had nothing but dramas with them. Can't get them beyond 5cm without dying. Can't work out why they die. Very expensive fish that are extremely hard to keep!
The last batch Bowdy shipped them from interstate but they failed. I think he managed to keep a few longer than me then moved them on. I'd love to find out also if anyone has managed to grow them to decent adult size in Perth.

all of bowdys original batch died, i ended up with the last 3 but they just kept dropping off, tried again recently, got 2 but one killed the other so only got the 1 left now but only need 1 to breed them

Same old story I hope you're successful Bermont. I thought I was onto a winner a few years back thinking I'd bred two Blue gene JD's together but I got no EDJD fry out of 500+ so I knew the parents were not in fact Blue Gene JD's as I was told
Good luck!!

the breeding pair ive got have a very deep dark blue color to them which ive not seen very often, sometimes almost black and have a lot of metallic blue on them, so im hoping mine may potentially be blue gene but i doubt it, gonna actually try and raise some fry and see what i get.
