6x2x2 Malawi Setup

So here's where I'm at.....
I've always wanted a 6x2x2 display, but I made the decision about 3 years ago to set up breeding tanks in the garage instead of a nice display. Now I finally have what I wanted.
I have finally sold off my old 3ft that this replaced and I'm loving the extra room (inside the glass, not so much outside it :|)
In the xmas hols I went and visited Pacco at Vebas (which is quite the trip from Greenwood but well worth it)
So I got it home and in the garage cos I really wanted to go down the black background path.
Then got a few helpers around to help move the tank in place, and let someone else get the cannisters running for you. I was supervising to make sure they would start ok.
And the tank with some fish swimming around in it.
The rock is huge! Doesn't look it in the tank but is very very heavy.
I'm not terribly happy with my current, lighting, filtration or rockwork so plans are in motion for all of them.
Will update with pics as I get through my list.

I'm currently using an aquaone 1200 and an otto 450, but I will be changing these to a Fluval Fx5. I just want one intake and one outtake opposed to 2 of each atm. Also the otto equipment is green which doesn't look too flash against the black background
Water level was low because I wasn't sure how much water would be taken up by the rocks. Will update with new scape on the weekend.

Currently it has
8x Placidochromis sp. ''Phenochilus Tanzania''
6x Metriaclima sp. "Membe Deep"
6x Aulonocara rubescens
10x Labidochromis caeruleus
1x gold spot pleco
And a couple of mpanga that I haven't been able to catch and remove yet, but I plan on only leaving those species and just increase numbers of each.
When do we get to see pics of your display?
I managed to rearrange some rock work, added some in.
And today my fluval fx5 arrived, so just trying to work out what media and in what order I'm going to use, but will prob get that running on the weekend. Can't wait

I can't remember what they were called, they were given to me by another member on here to try out, they were supposedly great and he was going to be bringing them in but things ended suddenly for him Will see how they go, hopefully work well, I have them mixed thru the basket with the balls.

Thx This is the hardest part now, waiting for all the fish to grow out to their full potential, I think I have 2 or 3 male phenos so can't wait to see them fully grown, and also the father of my rubescens is a real solid blood red full time, so I'm hoping mine pick up that colouration!
And I recently lost my sole male membe deep, so I'm waiting on another one to be sent over how ever I think numbers on them are getting very low around the country so hopefully they will breed for me. The dom female is very gravid atm. Hopefully I get the male soon

They are a great species to watch. He will dominate the tank but also be gentle in it and let the smaller species live lol
