Wondering if theoretically OK to keep dosing glut while treating with say triple sulpha. Been looking into out of interest but cannot find anything if the glut will deactivate the antibiotic meds at all.

I have looked into this matter in the past. There appears to be no recorded material, but I can see no obvious reason why glutaraldehyde (particularly at the low concentrations used as a carbon source in aquaria), should have any reaction with antibiotics.

Thanks for the reply. I've also found nothing to say it can't be done and a few posts saying it seems to be fine or no problems seen. One of those late night thoughts I had looked to research but got very little. Craig.
