Hi everyone,

I still have my display discus tank but this tank came up on gumtree and I had to have it.. 4.5f x 4.5f x 2.5ft.  It was an old marine tank with 5 pre drilled holes for sump plus skimmer box at the back etc.

It sit on a black powered coated stand that weighs a tonne.  It was a massive to task to lift as the bases is 20mm glass.  I wanted to make sure I could get it plumbed up with the piping that that I could reuse again , when I move house etc.

Rovik came up with the design and did an amazing job ...its 2 returns, 2 drainage points plus another for overflow.  also water changes are very easy and just one turn of the valve and a way it goes... also auto top up .  High recommended Rovik to anyone that is looking for a design to plump up and set up tank, sump etc.. very smart and does a PERFECT job.  Thanks again.

The sump has the two inlets with two micros socks ( a lot easier to clean)...

 poreat foam three layers.

 plus K1 in one compartment.

6500 litre pump

2 eheim heaters

For the lids I used 10mm clear polycarbonate sheets that I bought from bunnings . every easy to use and easy to cut to how I wanted them.

I have since added white washed sand from soils an it soils, some granite rocks, some ornaments I kindly bought from VooDoo and delivered them for me. thankyou  and kept it very simple ,

So far I have.

2 saratogas,  1 x 40cm plus ( THE BOSS) 1 x 25 cm

2 Stingrays 3 ways-- 1 pup and one 25cm one.

6 Massive X large silver dollars

6 Massive Tin foil Barbs

2 peacock bass

1 green terror

1 Texan

So far everyone is doing really well and getting along great.....The boss chases only a few of the fish around and small saratoga actually challenges the bid fells for the food.

So here are some pics

Yeah stunning mate.

Only went to buy two pups and come home with a big one and one pup...And now I want another one, with pattern Morph style.

Mark had one but he had it hold for someone and he took it today.

Mark will get me something.

Could not help myself , so made the trek last night and bought two more stingrays.. one male and one female... Amzing quality and very high grade "Third Generation 3 way Hybrids"  Leopoldi x Mantilla X triplespot.

Hope everyone likes them , as im hooked and if anyone is looking for WOW factor in your tank.. Stingrays are it.

Thanks again Mark (Buccai).

Mate,

Mark (Buccai) has some amazing rays out in two rocks... some stunning breeders he has developed and spent a lot of time perfecting the hybrids.  Credit to him, as they are stunning rays...

Would definetly say mark would have to have some of the best Ray stock in Perth, if not Aus.
I have bought a couple rays from him, and plan for another very soon.
Nice purchases mate, they are great aquarium additions!
