Might be a female with lots of colour food. How big is it and what is it eating?

After that stage, some tiny tiny little dots will appear to the rear of the dorsal fin, just before the anal and dorsal begin to form a little point.

AT that size if it is colouring, I'd guess male. Looked bigger in pic.

Yep that's what I was saying I'm quite sure it's a male, keep us updated on him! Remember they do get quite big!From my experience, the flush of orange that begins to show behind the gills is beginnings of a male.
