Hey guys, so my german import cyps arrived today! woo
Ill put photos of them up on my tank journal thread but this topic is for you guys potentially helping me find out what I found in the net when i poured one of the bags (of 3 cyps).

Each bag had 1 male, 2 females and for the first bag i noticed something bouncing around in the net whilst i was holding it waiting for the little cyps to swim their way out.

I took a photo on my phone, any idea what it is?

at the expense of sounding like an idiot i immediately thought eggs because I want these guys to start spawning asap!! haha
Then as some were kinda mushed i thought maybe food but then they dont feed travelling fish because of the waste, and also doubt any food would be left.

Its not really that big of a deal just my curiosity :P
Any help would be great, cheers guys (so excited got my fish woo woo haha)

They were sold as 5-6cm and most are at the higher end of that going 6+, When I picked em up and me and Paul had a look Paul was saying they look about breeding size already.

Sounds about right mate, we had leptosoma mupulungu breed for us at 5-6cm no problem at all.

Fairly confident that they are eggs, shouldn't take them long to start spawning in your tank if they are happy :)

Yeah I was thinking stuff like that but 1. I've never heard of something like that, that is considered risk-free aswell and 2. It was only in one bag, I opened two bags of 3 fish and only one had these in them

Unless it was something that dissolved during shipment time and these are the two left over.

If fisheries saw something in the bag that shouldn't be there they would of destroyed them. So one would of assumed that they did not because they were in the fishes mouth as in eggs.
