Hey guys, I have to reccomend to all serious loach fans to check out the XXL clown loaches at vebas.
Apparently these things are around 10 years old and are up for a good price considering the age.
It really is a sight to see though, have never seen clown loaches this big, even some of the supposed huge ones on the net seem smaller.

The two larger ones would be a little over 25cm and around 20cm for the smaller one. They are $200ea for the larger ones and $150 for the smaller.

Now that's some serious loach size. Could it be that the two larger ones are a male and a female?

It doesn't matter what sex they are, clown loaches don't breed in aquariums. All the juvi's are wild caught, or they inject the loaches with hormones from the pituitary gland of a cod to induce breeding.

In tank breeding is always an accident.

There would be a reason why you can breed them in aquariums.

How do you give the fish the water volume you need and then create the Water Flow that is needed for the wet season simulation?

need more then 3 ehiem pro3's!
