Fs- Price Drop - Tank, Filter, Fish, Plants & Equipment

17 November 2011 - 10:10 PM

All of this needs to go before Tuesday!!

I have started a new job and unfortunately do not have to time to enjoy my fish keeping setup any longer.

Equipment:
1 x Eheim Professional 2 External Canister Filter 2028 – about 8 months old.
1 x Eheim Jager 150W heater
1 x Aqua One Air Pump (2 outlet, with ‘diffusers’ and air hose)
Up Aqua Substrate (2 x Large Bags)
950 x 450 x 380 Tank
A few stones and Driftwood
Plus the equipment, food and fertilisers included in the pics (over $200 worth. Most of the food and ferts are nearly full)

Livestock:
7 x Ember Tetra
3 x Gold/Platinum tetra
5 x Lemon Tetra
6 x Glowlight tetra
6 x Cardinal Tetra
2 x Twig Catfish (Farowella)
9 x Rummynose Tetra
4 x Venezuelan Corydoras
2 x Otocynclus

Plants:
There are a huge variety of plants in the tank, and I spent a fair few hundreds of dollars on them. I haven’t added any ferts for at least 4 months, so they aren’t going crazy like they were.

I’m not an expert on identifying the different types of plants, so I’m not going to try and provide an extensive list, but here is shortlist of a few of the things I think I have in there:

Pygmy Chain Sword (going crazy)
Blyxa (three fairly large bunches)
Vallis
Java Moss (Apparently I have a few different types of moss, some of which are quite rare)
Anubas

I don't want to separate it all up just yet. However, if a few people want to team up and do a group buy type deal then let me know :-)

$580 ono for the lot.

I can be contacted on 0423 264 268

All-in-one Aquarium Advice

17 June 2011 - 07:10 PM

I am looking to purchase an 'all-in-one' tank setup, the plan is to use it for a display quality community planted setup.

I quite like the look of the small Juwel tank running at Vebas and also the Red Sea one set up at Aquotix. But I an thinking I'd like something a bit bigger. From a purely aesthetic point of view, I really like the look of the Juwel Rio tanks, they seem pretty slick to me.

I was wondering if anyone might have some experience or advice for me on which brand would be the best option? Bearing in mind the lighting, CO2 and filtration requirements for a display quality planted community tank.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wtb - Blyxa

02 June 2011 - 06:30 PM

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to find some Blyxa? Or maybe someone might like to sell me some?

I have just purchased the last they had at aquotix and it looks great. I thought maybe someone from here might be able to help me out to find some more.

Thanks!!
