hawks v collingwood
adelaide v sydney
geelong v freo
westcoast v north melbourne

my tips hawks, sydney, geelong, westcoast..... and predicting some big margins too..... hawks prob have the easiest game... although debatable geelong have it easy too!!! tongue.gif sydney have the hardest!!!

hawks copped a few injuries against the eagles this week... but give them credit for the first quarter blitz... set up the match... but westcoast came back and finished with a respectable 25 point loss after being down over 6 goals in first quarter....

I'd love to see the Hawks beat the Cats in the grand final again. Two wins from eleven games with two premierships would be a classic.

Hawks, Sydney, Geelong, Eagles... Any team in finals has a chance but Geelong are tough anyware, let alone an elimination final at the G. I hope we can pull off a win but I won't be putting $$ on it.

Eagles will be very happy that we don't face them next week. Pretty much a walk up start for the 2nd week if they can keep it together.

i wouldnt be betting on freo either mate!!!! tongue.gif

they can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.... and somehow win the unwinable game on paper!!!! disappointing fans since 1995.... smile.gif

Quality as usual Johnno, real top stuff.

Edit: Steve Johnson offered a week and cannot reduce with an early guilty plea because of carry over points. That sort of makes up for losing McPharlin for the game. Sort of.

you'd be spewing chapman got a reprimand then.... hes a tough damaging player that doesnt always grab the highlight reel but goes about his game making his presence felt...

macfarkwit will be missed in dockers backline but silvagni or grover could well fill the gap thats left after his hamstring went PING!!!....

im betting cats go a long way in this years finals...

always quality footy statements here... wce 3 - fd 0 ............ premierships are what footy is all about.... tongue.gif

Geelong at the G in an elimination final is very different to NM in the home and away season. Having said that I wish the dockers the best of luck, I hope they beat Geelong and their sooky coach.

I think North have over performed, they are nothing special at all, and are just making up the numbers in the 8. I'm looking forward to cry pants Scott having a whinge after WCE wipe the floor with North.

I will happily eat my hat if north win smile.gif

i agree, although its a bit strange that Geelong arnt playing at their actual home ground, whether or not thats an advantage for freo im not sure, either way, i hope both WA teams make it through, they have both fought for a spot in the top 8 and deserve to make it through to the finals, i would love to see collingwood knocked off their high horse, even better if its freo who gets to do it wink.gif

Freo wont get a crack at Collingwood unfortunately. If we beat the Cats we play the loser of Swans/Crows. Eagles should play Collingwood in the second week of the finals.

I think skilled stadium (or whatever they call it now) has a large stand missing at the moment? I would think it's at the G to maximise ticket sales.
