How To Beat Black Beard Algae

what is the cause of black beard algae? iv'e got a heavily planted tank and fertilise and dose with liquid c02 twice a week.

any ways to fix it?

I've been told in the past to increase c02 Dosage?

So you're using co2? Usually something out of balance for BBA to grow. Too much co2 not enough iron? Who knows? Could be phosphates. Bring a sample of your water in to Oli (Aqoutix) and have a chat to him or Rovik

Ollie swears by BBA = phophates

Grab a phosphate sponge and see if it helps
( plus spot dose H202 and kill it )
