You should be buying a 6x2x2 for them fish. I guess you dont need me to tell you the tank is to small and Male Red Empress will stuggle colouring up or even living for that matter. Even 75g would do, 72 x 14 x 18

Hey Fish

As has already been stated, the tank is on the small side for keeping all those fish, plus the fish are only newley introduced on Tuesday. You need patients, give them time to settle in and they should colour up normally, unless they are being harrassed by the Moorii, another tank might be the way to go.

If you move the red emp then surelly they tank is big enough for 8 moorii.
240L it's round the same volume as a 4x18x18.

Volume means little, it's the footprint you need particularly length. A 4x18x18 is more ideal then a 3x1.5x2. An adult Moori will grow to well over 20cm which is almost 1/3 the length of the tank.

lol, no.

The pair would be ok in there own 3 footer for a little while but they grow to be big fish and will need housing in a bigger tank as adults.

What type of fish are you putting with your re?

IMO I'd leave it and get a bigger tank fast. I don't see why it needs to be display quality strait away. I'd be thinking of your fishes best interests if I was you

I understand that. But maybe you shouldn't go buying these fish without first finding out more about them, then buying the proper tank, then the fish.

What size tank did the person that you bought them keep them in?

Where they colored up in there?

You might just have two females
