Hi All,

I am a beginner in Fish Keeping, only had my African Cichlid tank up and running for a few months now.

Im thoroughly addicted already, and so far so good with all the fish.  They have a 5' tank and PH level is perfect atm

I recently added a large Pleco to my tank, and he has settled in well.  My question is how can I be sure he is getting enough food??  I have the vege waifers that I drop in after I feed the cichlids (thinking he will have half a chance of getting one!!)  But I have yet to see him eat one in two weeks.  I know that he eats the algae and helps keep my tank clean - but I am just concerned he is not getting enough food -  Can anyone give me some advice?????

Cheers

Terri

Yep exactly what he said ^

Meaning slide the handle of the spoon/fork through the slice/s if zucchini & let it sink :)

Feed zucchini, cucumber is mainly water and put the wafer in after the lights have been turned off awhile. Pleco's are more active at night, so they will find the wafer when the others are sleeping.
