Hey all,

I am looking into getting a large tank for my cichlids. Looking to get a 8x2x2.5ft (240x60x75)

Possible options to move into the larger tank. (these fish are currently in smaller tanks)

2x Oscars
Jack Dempsey Breeding Pair
1x Red Devil
1x Jaguar
2x Green Terrors
2x fire mouths
1x Gold Spot Pleco
1x Synodontis Nigriventis
1x Synodontis Decorus

Any mixed groups of fish to go in the big tank would be great. (They Don't All Have to)

These fish are currently being kept in two smaller tanks and are needing a bigger home (the reason I am planning the larger tank)

This is my current plan, please make recommendations that would improve it.

8x2x2.5, 1080L
1x Jaguar
2x Green Terrors
2x Oscars
2x Peacock bass
1x Gold Spot Pleco
1x Syno Nigriventis
1x Syno Decorus

120x57x46, 314L
1x Red Devil
Maybe something else...

120x45x45, 243L
2x Firemouths
1x L168 Pleco
Jack Dempsey Breeding Pair.

Does this all sound ok? Anything of this plan I should change?

Cheers

I'm no pro when it comes to fish tank mates, as I have only kept community fish :P
But I'm not sure if an l168 would be okay with a breeding pair of JD's
Once again though, I have no clue :P and I can't wait for photos when it is setup!

Sounds good so far but personally I'd put the JD pair in the 8' (depending on their size)
