Hi STEVEGREEN. I see this is an old post but do you still have these tricoti.
If people are still watching this post then the display the male is doing is called trumpeting, usually done to attract the females and in spawning action but also done proving who's the more dominant male of the group if there's more than one male around.
Here is a youtube video of one of one of my very young males spawning with a female.
Unfortunatley I can get them to spawn frequently but they spit there eggs after 1-2 hours.
Sorry if you have seen this video of mine eltswhere, I have been trying to post it as many places as I can to get any info.
Any advice from anyone regarding these great fish would be greatly appriciated.
