Hi, I have one last place in the house to put another tank angry.gif , unfortunatly it leaves me with a problem of where I can place filtration. The only places are above the tank, in it or both.
It's a 6ft long, 18"wide and 24" high made to fit in the place I have left.
My question is what type of filtration would you use or suggest for this size tank?
It's going to have my 7 x adult Cyathopharynx Furcifer's, 1 male and 6 females, pool filter sand and a couple of large river rocks.
Now all other tanks (all fresh water) I own have either sumps or Eheim canister filters of some sort.

*If this helps in any way with your suggestion I have lots of glass I can cut and drill any size holes.

Many thanks. Tricoti.

Internal power filters are plentiful and cheap and still do a good job at nitrification and dirt removal.

Aquotix have them on a mega special atm..... http://www.perthcich...x...st&p=195888

Hi and thanks for your reply wink.gif . Could I just ask a few questions to help me.

I see the picture of the filter box.
Where did you place the pump in the tank to lift the water up into the box?
Did you have a pre filter before the pump or did you just let all the dirty water run through the pump up into the box?
What type of pump or powerhead did you use and what type of LPH?
Was it more of a trickle filter than a sump type setup and what type of filter media did you use?

Sorry for all the questions, but I would be greatful if you could reply with the answers.

Cheers. Pete
