He could have scraped his eye on some rock work Brad, it's pretty common for fronts to bang emselves into stuff, they can be a little skittish.. The greyish appearance could be the protective layer that builds up over a damaged eye. I'm not sure how to treat this though, maybe another member can help a little more smile.gif

Test your water make sure that's fine first the cloudy eye can be a sign of ammonia.

Dude why would you suggest some Other mob when our local sponsors are cheaper. And support our club.

And I bet postage is cheaper also.

I reckon what's happened Brad is that your fronty has copped a beating to one eye, the cloudiness is the fish's reaction to the wound, kinda like a scab. It might heal by itself but could mean the loss of the eye, it really depends on how bad the damage is, if it doesn't look like its healing by itself you could try treating him while he's in a seperate tank. I'm not sure what you could use but melafix comes to mind as it great for damaged fins and cuts, not 100% sure bout eyes though, might be worth sending a PM to Ollie (mr_docfish) and see what he recommends for eye treatment smile.gif

Is he eating? have any of his habits/behaviour changed radically?
