Hi all,

I have my Electric yellows in a 2 foot tank (80 liter is ) is it I wise idea to add another Colony, keeping in mind it's only a 2 foot tank ? What would be a good peaceful option ?

Prolly a lot of fish and agro in such a small tank and what filtering ?

Catfish or pleco maybe, depends how many yellows you have . Are they full grown or just juvies but the answer to another fish colony is no the tank is to small. If you want a variety of colour go one of's.

I have 10 60mm EY'S, what's the odds of interbreeding with say a Cobue? Obviously there's high chance and Likely with peacocks together

Would suggest that at 10 EY's in 80L, you are already at upper limit of what you want to keep.

I reckon its already well overstocked considering they have some growing to do... but thats just me.

When mixing colonies, keep in mind that they can accidentally interbreed, the current in the tank can carry milt from one breeding pair to another.
