Cheers mate the missus is doing better and the fish are all still swimming smile.gif

So giving up on the rainwater idea for now I'll wait to winters over and the tank is empty and I'll give it a good clean and play around with filtration ideas to have a crack next winter lol

Just going to fill the 300L container in the shed with tap water add my conditioner and leave to heat. Will I need a pump inside to circulate water or just a air stone bubbling away good enough ?? Thinking bout modifying a spa pump to pump water in and out of tanks getting sick of lifting a pump in and out of tanks lol

I use a spa pump for water changes, it certainly makes short work of it. You won't regret it.

they usually do just i closed the door so the puppy couldnt shit in the fish room.... bad move... ah well doors wide open now and alls good again... found couple rats this morning so i thought... but it was just one they had been playing tug o war with lol smile.gif
