I had one of these once that i purchased from vebas when i was still working there several years ago.

It was tan with a black stripe along its sides. quite similar to the first few pics of the butis butis in the thread in the main forum. It used to bury itself under the gravel with just its eyes and top of its nose camoflauged at the substrate level. Would sit there all day untill i threw in gambusias or other feeder fish.. and then it was on! would jsut go nuts untill they were gone.

Unfortunately, it died one day after i had it for a year or so for unknown reasons.

Im not looking for another one right now but if any one knows anything more about what i may have been and where they are from i would love to know.

Cheers

Hi Ashh

I put Pseudaphritis urvillii in Google search and came up with these sites

http://filaman.ifm-g...ry.php?id=12011
http://www.ifc.tas.g...r_flathead.html

There are lots of other sites with info on them
Cheers Terry
