Back at the December auction I got 18 rainbows (3 different types) - babies - & put them into my 3 footer to grow up a little. The only other occupants are a 3 baby plecos and 6 baby peppies (also growing up) so there's a lot of driftwood in there.

In the past 2 months, 7 out of the 18 rainbows have died - and not all the same species. About 1, sometimes 2 per week, so not all at once. And things were fine for the first few months when I got them (I've had the tank continuously running for around 12 months now).

I've been testing the water, but nothing seems to be wrong with it - all the levels are normal. I do weekly 25% water changes.

Haven't had any problems with the baby peppies or plecos just the rainbows are dying & I don't want to lose them all cos they are nice fish!!

Anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks

Megan
