My best finds are a couple of gold nuggets and some jewellery.
Anyone else like to get out and see what's under the ground?? What are your best finds??
The best I have seen in person was a 32oz nugget found by my uncle.

Interesting Topic; Since a child I have always had a keen eye to find 'sparkly' things, I was always finding money at school, etc.
After the Fireworks I would keep my eyes out for Sunglasses that are left behind
And usally, when I am snorkeling I always keep an eye out under Jetties.
I am always find hooks and tackle, usaully I am looking for expensive lures.
Recent Finds:
Wedge Island (Esperance): 9k Gold Earing - Prob worth about $20 - I plan to melt it down into a little nugget to hang off my chain.
Little Jetty near Stirling Bridge (Mt Pleaseant): 2x Specticles/Glasses, 5x Knives
Rottenest: Yellow Dive Torch
Recently, I missed out going to Kalgoorlie with some Archery buddies, who went prosepecting for a week (with a little goat hunting on the side).
I have always loved finding things but never purposely gone out looking.

When I was young and living in the pilbara, people would empty their vacuums over the fence... One day I found a nice shiny 9ct gold necklace that someone chucked over with their vacuum crap.

Mmm, yes detectors are fun, we have two at Archery to find arrows that 'barrel' under the ground. We search for their 'tips'. Apparently Kalgoorlie has been picked clean for detector prospecting but I think the allure that you 'could' find something would definetly get me there to have a look.

I found a $2 coin at a local park on Sunday while going for a walk. Went to IGA and purchased a packet of biscuits with the find. Was pretty stoked
Should of saved it & put it toward my roast beef roll at the next auction mate hahahaha
