I have a tank that was built in Perth no more than 4 years ago buy a very reputable builder. I have the receipts to prove.  

The base cracked in half so the tank was pulled down & dismantled. The lid (Bracing) is still in one piece.

The glass has been under my patio out of sunlight & weather as you will see if inspected. 

 

I would love to do a swap of some kind, for some bristle nose, Bala sharks or African Cichlids or WHY

 

I know the glass is worth a bit of money all you need is to replace the bottom piece & you have a 8 ft tank @ a fraction of the cost to build a 8 ft tank from new, saying this if you don't want to give me any thing or have nothing I'm still happy to give the glass away for free. all you need to do is pick it up or I can deliver at a cost .

 

Another option is to have the glass cut down to make a custom size tank. @ 12mm
