Collecting FW exotics is not about putting up a post an expecting fish to appear, sometimes it works though.

Have to put coin aside, then when something comes up buy it straight away without any difficulties for the seller.

I'd give plecoplanet a try.

So true,,^^^^^^^,,, if you think your paying $200-$300 more than you should,,,, then still dive in and buy.
There are a few beasts/varieties of fish now that are seeing there way gone with the ever so hardening of fish law.
Also a big term of no interest in some of these fish types for a while which followed the GFC,,, saw them dwindle.
I'm not saying birch is blacklisted though.

Add on another average of $150 for east to west shipping and $50 for quarantine inspection.
Perth airport to Albany may be a extra $30. - $50
A fish well worth shipping.

From memory marine Tangs are allowable imports?

Nice fish though. I'm currently in the process, of putting together a massive reef tank, nothing cheap at all about it!

Yes but some carry a massive price tag, there is quite a bit of marine you can buy imported. So you pay big trying to get them from guys that can find them.
