He sure is starting to look better now IMO, I've seen some adult pics and can see why they are so expensive. He's eating frozen prawns and whitebait, so just like us he has the convenience of haveing someone else to kill his food for him.

I recommend you keep small tankbusters in a small tank, and increase tank size as they grow, meaning there is no point in keeping a 2inch tankbuster in a 6foot tank. Its much easier to monitor them and ensure they get enough food when you keep them in a tank thats in appropriate proportion.

Just don't have anywhere for a small one at the moment, and not really too keen on setting up more tanks.

Clearly my topic states the species name and photos, and is a different species to the fish in your video. 8O The fish in your video is a Pseudoplatystoma and mine is as stated a Merodontis which only grows to about 60cm.
