Looking good Cobby, still planning to put the 3 foot on the shelf underneath.
If so how were you planning on supporting it, just searching for ideas as I have similar plans and my stand will need extra 'flooring' to support the 3 foot evenly.
cheers

Bennyboy got any pics of your stand? biggrin.gif

Gas preasure is always the same (mostley) Gas is pure argon .for tig

Settings ie amps vary with the type of joint

ie fillet, butt,lap

and the position you are welding in ie vertical up, flat (DOWNHAND),horizantal vertical, overhead and vertical down

And not forgeting all position welding IE pipe

Regards Cobby

Ps dont worry about any of that when building tank stands biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

very true cobby ive got it powdercoated black cause i mean black suits anything and doesnt take the eye catching sight away from the tank. Makes the welds look prety good aswell haha. End of year 12 ive actually got an apprentiship at austal ships should be good very large company lol went there for work experince felt like a fly on a wall at the MCG full captivity lol.
