A step up from the last one but still nowhere near as good as Puppets or Black.

Black ???? Tim Noooooooooo it was an ok Album but nowhere near Puppets, Lightning or And Justice...
I saw them on FOXTEL the other night. They need to give up playing live, They are young anymore...

I agree with Cawdor, death magnetic is a damn sight better than St Anger but it still doesnt beat they're early stuff. And when you think about it, nothing they bring out will ever beat their early stuff. My favorite album is Ride The Lightning

I didn't say it was as good as Puppets - I said it was better than St Bloody Anger smile.gif
I know a lot of people think Black was too commercial blablabla but compared to what came after that it was a great album.
Bringing Metal to the masses, nothing wrong with that.

Yeah Dirty is a good album but I'm currently stuck between Goo and Daydream Nation, they're getting a flogging atm.

And i picked up from JB's a 4 Disc set from The Cure called B-sides and rarities for about $60, it got all the great songs that didn't get ruined by commercial radio wink.gif

Listened to Death Magnetic today, I'll agree that it's better than St Anger... but so is Justin Timberlake tongue.gif
Metallica old? Iron Maiden put on a fantastic show, as did Slayer last year. For me, Metallica only released 1 good album, Kill 'em all. But Im very picky with my metal, and class Metallica as nearly as big a sellout as Silverchair

Scars on Broadway Scars on Broadway
Queensryche Rage for Order
Scars is Darron Malakion and John Dolmeyer from System of A Down, which is one of my favourite bands. I recently bought a new ipod, classic 80G, and am currently trying to fill it! Had a small mp3 before but got fed up of not having the music I wanted, when I wanted it. Love my ipod.

death magnetic best metallica album ever? bit of a big call imo. to go from being one of the "thrash four", to selling out like 2 of the others. good to see slayer keep rolling on with the speed

Umm....thanks? Haha smile.gif
I wouldn't describe myself as a metal head, I have a very wide range of musical taste. But I grew up with rock and metal, so a fair chunk of my music falls into that category.

Nothing clears your system like a good headbanging!!
