You wont always have issues with fish of a certain genus however green terrors can be terrors (pun intended) and also polleni can be. There are some pretty placid fish in your list that may not fair well woth the aggressive lads

Yeah I'm hoping I'll be lucky and get some that arent too aggressive. If worse comes to worst, I'll seperate them as I have a spare tank and sell em off. Would be a shame though as they are some nice looking fish.

Yep I understand that but once again, if I do see any aggressive behaviour I'll just take them out. Also, especially with the aggressive fish, I'm not going to be buying them at 20cm+ and chucking them in with some corys. Anyways, if anyone has these fish for sale or knows where to get them, please let me know.
Thank you

Highly recommend Robs Aquariums for your Americans. The quality of fish is awesome now they have some growth on them.

2 years ago I bought multiple Firemouths, Ellioti, Blue Acaras, Salvini all at 3-5cm and one Pollini at 3cm.

The Pollini is now the largest and most docile fish in my tank.

A Salvini pair are the most aggressive but only when looking to spawn, but no other aggression :).

Definitley will visit Robs over the weekend. Fish list has been updated with numbers. They will also be going in a 6x2x2 tank. Plan is to purchase them small and once they get bigger, sell off the less attractive ones. Numbers are just initial numbers, not final.

another point to remember for a tank like that is stick strictly to all males ... to lessen competition and cross breeding

Apart from the convict, which I'll get rid of, what others on that list are suspicious of cross breeding? I do plan on at least breeding the Tapajos and Pollenis (not together, obviously).

EDIT: After a bit of research it seems that the gold saum can cross with the electric blue acaras so now want 1x electric blue male. Anything else I might be missing?

Just dropped into Rob's today and got myself the red head tapajos. Also got some sterbais and flagtails which had just come in today. Excellent shop, would recommend.
