Hey guys wanna chuck in some shrimp in my Planted tank, the tank has 4rams and 2 pelviachromis sp. Will the shrimp be able to reproduce there numbers to keep up with the rate of them being eaten?? I'd wanna start off with around 70+. What you guys reckon?
Cheers

I have done it before, once the rams and kribs hit 5cm they will take your large females whole, I have photos of a gold ram with just the head of a 20mm female cherry hanging out of it's mouth.

I would start with 100-200 if I where you, I would still expect populations to reach 800+ within 12 months. (if there was no predation you would expect 3-4000)

One thing I found was that all the fish that could eat them tended to spawn alot, but I lost many fish because of other fish guarding eggs ECT.
