Hey Craig those sword plants look really lush , can I ask what you are doing to keep them so nice and healthy? lighting/suppliments/etc?

Hey Den biggrin.gif

Im using a triple fluro " Haiyang" This has (3) 3ft tubes each side which are 2 whites and one red, also we supplement the plants every fortnight with aquasonic hydrogrow tablets which have worked well for me.

Got all this from Pacco @ Veba`s biggrin.gif

Cheers
Craig

Those Amazon swords have doubled in size since they went into that tank biggrin.gif

Am looking for some red swords now but they are hard to come by.

Thanks Craig biggrin.gif I will have to take a look at those lights. I've been looking at halide lighting but it takes alot of power and I wanna keep my carbon footprint as small as possible and my wallet as fat as possible

No worries Den,

Im only a beginner with plants imo and amazon swords have fairly low light requirements i think thats why they are doing so well but i dont know how other plants would go.

Anyway speak to Pacco when youre up there next as im sure he can sort out a happy medium for you biggrin.gif

Can fix you up with some Cory`s at some stage if you want and if they arnt too small for your other inhabitants 8O

Cheers biggrin.gif

Thanks Craig I've been talking to Pacco, and thanks for the Cory offer, however they would get eaten as I am planning to have big fish. Its going to be a tankbuster South American tank laugh.gif . Picked up some baby Pbass today already.
