Cheers mate, they are 6-8cm but monstr red devil keepr told me they are small for their age because the guy he bought them off had about 80 in a 2ft tank.

Thanks mate, Yeah I'd love some limestone for it, that would be awesome biggrin.gif I'm loving my oscar It chills around the tanks near the filter on using it's front fins to swim then when a other fish comes close it swims away, It's pretty cool to watch biggrin.gif

You would be a lot beter off with more wood or river stones as they won't buffer your ph limestone will push the ph up. a couple big pebbles would look great with the wood you have.
Tanks looking good man.

You should be able to find limestone in a lot of places around Perth. Usually I just go for a walk and pick pieces up.

tanks going good yeah, I have a polystigma breeding trio in there and i have a beanschi peacock colony in the shed but i don't think the polystigma's are really for me, I think i might buy a few cichla monoculus fry and grow them to about 8-10cm in the 6ft then move them to a 6x2x2 or something, what do you think? Cheers Jamil.
