actually i have no idea what i am going to do with them. this was supposed to be an experiment and i didn't think i would get any fry in the first place let alone get this far. but looking at all the planted tanks on this forum, I am thinking of maybe setting one up once these guys grow out a little more but still not sure.

haven't done an update on this for a while so here are some pics. moved the 6 fry to the main tank with the adults, no aggression issues whatsoever.

Micheal the ph is 6.8, i dont use any additives to bring the ph any lower. These juvies have now gone to a new home so i have no further updates. It was a great learning experience to breed discus for the first time. So hopefully this topic should help anyone considering breeding discus. thanks to everyone for your positive comments.

hows it going with the peppering, being a melon and a turq you would have some heavy peppering and not recommending for continuing breeding the pair, but of course we all have to do it on a first batch congratz hopefully we may see some more from on of the other pairs in the tank

unfortunately i have given these guys away so not sure how they are doing at the moment. the peppering was def getting more evident when i had them last. this was purely an experiment so i went ahead. will def stick to the same strains next time.
