Hey, im after a pet bird but i'd prefer a rescue one (sucker for the ones who havent had the best of lives etc)
just wondering if anyone knows of any places around perth that take in rescue birds and then adopt/sell them out?

There used to be an ad on gumtree pretty regularly requesting unwanted birds... seemed a bit like the PCS "Fish Rescue". I reckon the ad is still running... Would be worth a call.

What type of bird are you after? We get in unwanted birds all the time at work. We have a 1 year old pink and grey galah (male) someone brought in the other day, really friendly aswell, also have a rainbow lorikeet, and a one year old kakariki, all hand raised:)
