just wondering what are some good fish to breed in a 3ft tank. Open to all ideas.

Convicts if you like americans, brichardi or multi's if you like tangs, good quality electric yellows or other common well behaved mbuna if you like malawi's, peppermints or common bristlenose if you like catfish.

Malawi mbuna. You can keep a decent colony and they are active and colourful. Maybe nkali or pulpican. Yellows are a possibility. There are a lot available.  Don't go the pepps if you ever want to see your fish, IMO.

My longfin bristlenose love my 3 foot. That plus a bit of Barry white makes them breed like rabbits!
