can you get them in australia?

talkin about amano shrimp - retail in texas about $2.50 USD for them - plus 8.25% sales tax on top of that.

currently in my 5 gallon planted - unfortunately - don't get them unless you have hair algae - they devour your plants

Unfortunately we do not get the "Amano" shrimp here. We have other sorts of small freshwater shrimp but none as effective as the Amano shrimp in devouring hair algae.

Getting anything that will devour or even nibble hair algea is quite difficult. I have had very little success!!
