Sorry, haven't been on for a while lol. 

I ended up moving on the more motoro looking male (they didn't get on) and then was given a female with a stumpy tail.  They initially had a few biffs but are great now. 

Both are doing well and growing well, not fast, but well. 

Youll be fine with livefish for shipping, especially at that size. I think they have DOA policy too?

These where 2 x 25cm bagged in the same bag - didn't really have a chance, the water was absolutely ammonia ridden by the time the fish rocked up.

 

Let me know how it all goes, I may get one as well at that price

They should be around soon.  Someone recently got their permit to collect them again

Turns out this is actually a native Eel Goby - Taenioides purpurascens

Bit hard with just one haha!  Never seen one before so grabbed it lol.  

Don't know if I can get another.

This guy has a face not even a mother could love haha. 

I've had these guys since they were little 5cm fish. 

They've grown a lot and the colours are really starting to come out now  

Top one is a little blue monster in the making!

Can't wait to see it grown up.

The female is actually one I bred from my last pair   

Gold Comps are one of my favourites, but so hard to find nice ones that aren't brown.

One of the most common, under rated cichlids there is.  

Quite often overlooked as boring, grey fish in pet stores with average water conditions, these guys are truly stunning if looked after  

So cute!  

I know there are some in Melb and Qld that may be able to ship if you don't have any luck.

They are extremely feisty, but the females are just as feisty lol. 

They give it back to the males when they aren't interested. 

Not the biggest fan of guppies, but got these guys yesterday and they are really growing on me. 
Don't see them very often and have been a bit of a challenge for some so thought I'd give them a go.  

Very different to your typical guppies.  Their behaviour is very much like rainbows in how the males are constantly displaying to each other and competing for the females and they seem to have little territories too.

To be honest, I'm still undecided on wether or not I should keep two or just stick with one haha. Biggest problem is I can't decide which one l like most! 

Still have the bichir but they don't have the 4x2 anymore.  Another pair of blue gene JDs have that tank now

Mine are both hybrids. 

I use the pipe cos the fish eat all the food before it hits the bottom haha. 
Believe it or not, they're actually in with my Moba hehe. 

Eat heaps and they're only pups 

They're constantly harassing that tube cos that's where I feed them from lol.

After getting these guys in April 2015 as 4-5cm, this felt like an achievement  

These guys are getting big. They're starting to make the bigger tank look small again lol.
