Set this bad boy up on Saturday evening. Sorry about picture quality (taken on phone) - will have to get some better ones later.
Tank is 4ft x 1.5 ft x 2 ft (330L approx.)
Substrate is ADA New Amazonia - 4.5 x 9L bags of regular, 0.5 x 9L bag of powder
2 x Eheim 2215 filters (1 filter hooked up to UPS which will run for approx. 10 hours on battery).
PondOne 9w UV steriliser
Dupla CO2 atomiser & Canister (Cheers Terry)
Tunze CO2 Controller/Monitor
Seneye Home Monitoring System
TC Teco heater/chiller
Kameor 3 Channel Dosing Pump - yet to be installed
Can't remember what lights - will have to check
Rocks & Wood from Seaview - cheers Mike and Greg for all my annoying questions
Plants from Aquotix - cheers Chris (Saj) for the help - plants are mostly native (got a bit hard finding only natives so I caved in a little)
Plumbing supplies from Aquotix - cheers Ollie (Mr_Docfish) for the hour long tutorial
Planning on getting rainbowfish and river prawns.
Keeping temperature at 27-28 degrees C until livestock added. pH is 6.6-6.8. Dosing is currently set for 6.8 but likely to drop that to 6.5 pending further research (any help here appreciated).
Water changes are easy - just plug in hose and pump water out. When filling, water bypasses filters.
Primary filter pumps water through 1. UV 2. Atomiser 3. Chiller/heater. Filter media ceramic noodles, Seachem Matrix, Eheim white and blue pads, and Seachem Purigen.
Secondary filter (rigged up to UPS) has no equipment hooked up. Filter media ceramic noodles, Seachem Matrix, Eheim white and blue pads, and carbon.
It's a bit cloudy from planting and the substrate. Hopefully it clears up
Any suggestions to changes, fish etc welcome
