Goodluck finding one. They are very rare in WA.

Head over to Pet Link (google it) for your best chance of getting one shipped over from over East.

You're looking at about $1,200 for one.

They are awesome fish. Very primative looking. The book Jurassic Fishes has quite a bit of info on them if you're interested in getting the book. I bought mine for around $100 off Amazon.

Head over to monster fish keepers for more (free) info smile.gif There is an entire section of the forum dedicated to them.

P.S. you need a VERY large tank to keep them happy for life. Size recommendations can be found on the net but I'm thinking at least a 10x3x2.

When you find some lain, let me know.....
As Andrew suggested, they come up time to time, generally around that 50cm and with a price tag of a grand or so.
Nevertheless a truly stunning fish, with a very prehistoric way about it.
Good luck with the search.

A guy here was selling a 30cm one for $800 two weeks ago. Not sure if it's still available but if anyone's interested, I can find out.

I have already told you everything you need to know mate.

Asking again in the hopes of a different answer isn't going to help you! wink.gif

Actually I think the new answers might be worse, I think I told you $600? You have much to learn my young apprentice.

If you start from the top to bottom, we have all lowered our price by $200 each time. I found that funny.
Any way, where the ones at Atlantis Aquarium for sale before they were confiscated?

They are in Perth. Ive seen a couple in person in the past three months or so. But price tag wouldn't be cheap. As there aren't many and those who have them will either hang onto them or ask a very high price to part with them.

Personally I think they are amazing. But for the price tag I could think of many other fish I would buy. More Rays for one.....
