High Iron Level Water

I have a bore on my farm in busselton. Its down 197m. Tested with an api kit. Looks good. Low ph but managable. Its very high in iron. What problems could i face using this in tanks? I use rainwater for my tanks.

i want to make my own sponge filters. trying to find aquarium safe filter foam in decent sizes is proving extremely difficult. im looking for 2ft x 2ft sheets hopefully 8cm thick..... does anyone know a supplier in WA ???
