Theres been a few PM's about the shipping procedure...Ive got some time to kill so Ill outline it here

All the fish have been starved for 3 days to purge them...the biggest killer of shipped fish is ammonia toxicity...starving helps reduce poo which helps to reduce ammonia.
I add Ammo lock to the water that goes into the bags...again to help reduce any ammonia
The fish are bagged and double bagged and goose necked...O2 is used to fill the bags
All the bags are then put into one big bag which is goose necked and some absorbant pads put on the bottom of the styrofoam box.
I check the bags for snails before the fish go in (when theres only water in the bag), when I tie the first bag and again when I double bag the fish...Perth AQIS does NOT want snails over there (even though theyre there already?)
Ive hand written some little stickers that ill put on the bags with the owners name on it
Bagging will take a few hours and I want to try and get to the airport early to miss Sydney peak hour traffic...I live 70 km from the airport...little traffic will take me an hour, peak hour might take me 2 - 3 hours ( I kid you not...the traffic here is UNBELIEVABLE)
The fish should arrive in Perth at 9.00 am
Im not sure on the AQIS procedure over there but when I lived there and imported fish from over here the inspection only took 5 minutes or so.

If theres any DOA take a picture and send me a PM ASAP

I think thats all...pretty simple really

Mike

Anyone that is not meeting at the airport and have not arranged anything with me yet send me a PM and let me know when you want to pick up your fish.
I will be home all day and evening tomorrow.
