If anyone's searching for any Jacks there's around 6 at Vebas at the moment for $65 each

Sizes are around 5 - 10cm with the little 5cm one showing some amazing colour already

6x2x2 is too small to be a perminant home for a jack mate. Mine is in a 6x2.5x2.5 and even that is starting to look small! Glad to see more jacks around and finally at a half decent price! My only concern is the same as Alex, most of them will probably end up dying in small tanks of diseases, stress and or ammonia poisoning. The big price tags tend to keep away all the people who arent serious about fish keeping.

Wack up some Pics mate! If you need any help or advice im happy to help any way i can, im sure the same goes for Alex.

Yep

Whack up some pics mate. Be good to have someone else log a MJ's growth on this site.

Dave - I'm still waiting for some updated pics of your MJ slacker.

People who don't keep fish are entertained by the MJ when they come over.

It is my own fault for 'training' him to hit food before it hits the water. Looking forward to moving him later in the year and getting a measuring tape on him.

Let me know if you want a hand. Last time I moved mine solo and I could not for the life of me control the fish enough to do a measurement. Even shorted out my house power because of the splashing and the lights on the bloody roof. It's a hand full mate.

Nice fish :)

They look aggressive even at that size!

Wonder if I can get 100 for a summer in the AP tank... Hmmm
