I need a few pieces of this stuff for some larger limestone rocks. Has anyone from this forum actually purchased this stuff from somewhere? I have some in my box filter however the people who made it no longer exist. I recall being told they have it at lighting places. So if anyone knows a shop where they purchased it can they please tell me where from.

Lighting shops have it, they use it as diffusers for fluros. I got some once from a plastics manufacturer in Osborne Park. Can't remember what they were called, but I found them in yellow pages. They cut it to size for me and everything.

you can get it at aquotix. Not sure of the price but it doesn't come cheap

Barca, how much do you need? I don't think the one I got will be strong enough hold large limestones?

I dont think i need too much, it's just a few pieces of limestone i dont trust in my 270l tank (8mm bottom). Ill probably need ~3(20x20cm) pieces or maybe 4 or 5 if i decide to use the other pieces.

I have a piece of light diffuser roughly 40x60 cm. You can have it for $10 if you want.

Just put some styrene foam under the rocks.

Do you have Middendorp's Electrical Wholesalers or Laurence and Hensen Electrical w/salers in the Perth Area? They should stock it or know who manufactures it.
