Filled in a little bit (have not been running Co2 since January so growth was was a bit slower than i prefer. But i got myself into gear and got my 3.5kg bottle filled

Okay....now i have added Red Millfoil and a Red Tiger Lotus thanks to the Doc. The Lotus has shot through 2 new leave in just under a week of being in the tank.....must be loving the dino dung

if u dont mind me asking y do people use co2 systems?? is their any advantage apart from wasting 250 buks?? like do u really need it?

Paul, co2 isnt a necessity on planted tanks but it does have its purpose. Co2 wont work properly on its own......plants still need certain nutrients in the water. Personally i have opted for co2 and i think its great.....providing all your other parameters are met first
$250 I WISH mine was that cheap! Times that by 4 and you are about there for my particular system......

Im getting very very bored with this scape and some of the plants are just getting thrown in wherever they will fit...this is the downfall of only owning 1 tank and having it only 30litres
