Hey folks
anyone know where i can get these? I want the type that eats black beard algae.
i bought a couple which i thought were it but was mistaken and i think i got a chinese algae eater

The one in the photo is otocinclus. It won't eat the black brush but eat the other soft green algae. I have three in my tank.

Otocinclus are one of the best all-round algae eating fish.
SAE are good but become lazy with age .
A true SAE will have a black line all the way through its tail.
