Same with mine tries to swim with his tank mate and annoys the crap out of him.
Still splashes around at night though... got me buggered what he's playing at though.

Only been 3 nights mate but havent had a splash out of him since he went in. he is a love junkie fortunately his tankmates, a couple bigger than him, some smaller are tolerant of it. Am going to bring my tandanus together [different tank ] and see if their behaviour changes.Loving those rainbows to, 3out of 4,1 particularly strong have coloured up, this tank gets early morning sunlight and it makes those colours pop. [ way to go MM not just feeding a mans fish habit. Stoking it!  :)  ]

Caught my tandanus chewing on the ends of my valis last night, have also noticed that he sleeps up laying on the milfoil and valis! Its very cute! Also, has anyone else had trouble growing milfoil? Mines going brown on the bottombut still growing, is it melting?

Very strange to see a tandanus parked up at the top of the tank for any length of time.
Dont think ive ever seen one munching on plants either. I hate plants, I gave up on them ages ago... except val... Im the val master! (I know, I know, hardly a claim to fame).
So not real sure about your milfoil.

Hey guys, do any of you reckon there's something up with my tandanus? A few hours ago he turned literally fully greyish silver? I know its supposed to be camo, but it gave me a bit of a fright.

Um haha, whatd that say?

Nice work mate.

Murray Cod are great fish. Very responsive to what is going on outside their aquariums once they get some size. They seem like a thinking fish to me. :)

Cheers.

Agreed, cod give the impression that they are considering everything that goes on around them. Very watchful!
100% agree about size too. They are pretty boring fish until they get to about a year old and gain some confidence. Once they work out that they are big and tough they are great pets.
I'll try and get some decent pics over the weekend.

Lucky to pick up a nice size fish like that. Usually only see tiny little buggers for sale.
