Hi All,
Thought I would start a journal of my tank as it will be my first aquascaped one. Ive got another thats currently just used for growing plants but not scaped at all, just thrown in and looks like a jungle. So will be using everything from that tank on this one.
So here's the details:

Filter: Eheim 2213
Lighting: Aqualina double 36W CF (10K Plant tubes)
Co2: Pressurised, Up-Aqua inline diffuser, Up-Aqua dual guage reg + solenoid
Substrate: Oversized lime sand
Ferts: Dino pee
Fauna: RCS, Darwin Algea Shrimp, Ottos, White Cloud Mountain Minnows
Flora: Anubias nana/nana petite
Java Fern- Normal, Narrow leaf, Windelov
Bolbitus
Various crypts
Xmas moss
Fissendens
Val- Unknown atm
Extras: Lilly pipes soon, Upgrade cannister,
Here's a quick few snaps:
Will update soon with plants in. Look out Perth members will be looking and swapping plants.
Cheers Sam.

Lookng good Sam,
With that good looking piece of root you have a great place to start.
It will be good to see how you progress with it.

Well its been a month since this first began, and i finally got around to planting it out on monday.
Changed out the substrate from oversized lime sand to pool filter sand to avoid any Ph issues down the track. Not happy with the overall look, definately hope to improve on my next scape.
The tank is very cloudy atm so have added bio-chem zorb to help. The big rocks on top are in there temporarily as the wood decided it would start floating so now the scape looks even worse Will fix it up once its fully water logged so theres not big gaps in the wood and java fern anymore.
Comments and critisim welcome as its my first real scape.
Cheers Sam.

Looking good Sam!
I like how you have layered sections of wood, greenery, and then white rocks - nice contrast.
Only things that stood out was the hardware (heater & filter intake) being visible and the lack of a background. A 3d background would help add some texture and shadowing.

Sorry for the late reply, didnt realise there were new comments lol.
The tank cleared up crystal clear within a week, but ive been having circulation problems with it so once i get that sorted i'll post up some pics. Javs fern is growing nicely though.
