Awesome setup really gives me some great ideas for my next tank.

Have you changed that hose connection ? as that reduces it back to 12mm yeah ?

sorry i missed this bit - the smallest part of the drain hose is about 20mm on the inside.

One question for me;
On the bulkheads, for the outlets, where did you get the slotted fitting?
I need one for my 8 footer but can't find them anywhere.

Do you mean this fitting on top of the pipes? Aquotix have those. I haven't seen them anywhere else (Bunnings, retic store etc).

You can get them from the watershed. They are a foot valve screen. They come in a wide variety of sizes
