its one of the most reef safe of triggers. Although most likely it will pick at some of the lps (long polyped stoney) corals if not kept well fed. In the long term it will be going into a fish only tank suited for its size but at the moment it is suited to my current tank. The question is for how long.

yeah its a stunning fish, i did some reading yesterday and found out if you dont glue corals down it will move things to suit its self, this morning it had moved an acro i havent glued in place in to a hammer coral. Now i have a coral that has been stung to all hell and a very happy and interactive trigger.

Only had 1 acro bleach and a few others arent looking too happy but all my fish and shrimp are goners. I figured it was time for a rescape. i will get pics up soon but its a bit late atm so a tomorrow job.

So i havent updated much for a while, i had a heater stick on and lost a hammer but my fish are all ok. Since the last crash i have put in a tang for algae control, a six line wrasse and some scissor tail gobies. i tried running with out rowaphos for a few months and that went bad so im back using it. ive added a second fbf with some lab grade carbon just to help with water quality, but other than these little set backs things are going well. Ive had a small acro come back from 1 polup to now a decent head, my euphilias are all looking well other than the one that i lost. My clams are going nuts and are growing very well.

Taken 2 hrs after a water change cause the tank was crashing.

Those R.Ex skimmers are awesome but absolute mega bucks!

Was looking at upgrading my skimmer pump for now with the thought of getting one of the new skimz units from vebas down the track

got a skimz atm, not as good as i was expecting. The pump lets them down. From what i have read about the royals no one has a bad experience with them. Also they have nice little things like the swabby that cut maintenance.
