I've noticed that there's an increasing interest in Discus at PCS lately... one of my favourite fish!
Anyways, to help people realise the beauty of these fish and the different colours/varieties available, i've found 2 very good sites which shows you images and common names of different varieties/strains of Discus:

I've seen about 10 different strains in Perth so far..
When I was in Melbourne, i saw about 15 strains.
By the way, I was at Malaga Aquariums today and they had about 6 different Discus tanks with different strains..
Another good LFS for Discus is my mate Gavin, owner of Aquarium City!
Can't wait till i set up my Discus tanks (yes, TANKS! - meaning more than 1 Discus tank! )... getting back to it after so many years...

I saw some red malboros, pigeons, and blue/turqoise...and 1 or 2 strains which i cant place a name!
There's so many different Discus strains/hybrids these days, that it is hard to keep track/classify them all!

I have a red malboro on hold at malaga at the moment (its the one in a tank on its own) cant wait until i can pick it up (not yet released from shop quarantine) The blue pigeon bloods look nice too, might pick up one of those when they colour up a bit more.
